Requirements
ALL requirements must be met for this position.
- Must possess 5+ years experience of relevant experience as described below, including 1+ year in some management capacity.
- Must possess strong computer skills including HR database and/or payroll programs
- Must possess superior communication and counseling skills.
- Must have experience and knowledge of Utah labor and employment laws and rules.
- Employee Relations: receive and investigate employee complaints and act accordingly to resolve them including implementing progressive discipline and termination.
- Employee Records: update and manage employee records and other perminent and temporary records.
- Performance Management
- Recruiting: Manage strategic recruiting and hiring process. Create job descriptions, participate in interviews, review salary levels and manage the on-boarding process.
- Leadership Development: raise proactive issues with manager, identify practical solutions to complex and diverse HR issues and recommend appropriate action plans.
- Benefits: oversee and manage Employee benefits programs, contracting with vendors and negotiate annual benefits with benefits broker.
