Salary: $41,600 starting

Requirements

ALL requirements must be met for this position.
  • Must possess 5+  years experience of relevant experience as described below, including 1+ year in some management capacity.
  • Must possess strong computer skills including HR database and/or payroll programs
  • Must possess superior communication and counseling skills.
  • Must have experience and knowledge of Utah labor and employment laws and rules.
  • Employee Relations: receive and investigate employee complaints and act accordingly to resolve them including implementing progressive discipline and termination.
  • Employee Records: update and manage employee records and other perminent and temporary records.
  • Performance Management
  • Recruiting: Manage strategic recruiting and hiring process. Create job descriptions, participate in interviews, review salary levels and manage the on-boarding process.
  • Leadership Development: raise proactive issues with manager, identify practical solutions to complex and diverse HR issues and recommend appropriate action plans.
  • Benefits: oversee and manage Employee benefits programs, contracting with vendors and negotiate annual benefits with benefits broker.
